As we get older, our muscles tend to get stiffer and less flexible. This can cause a myriad of issues, such as joint pain, back pain, muscle pain, and bad posture. All of these things can make us feel older and look older. Therefore, we should do exercises to counteract these things.
Perhaps the greatest anti aging exercise you can do involves things that expand your body. Expansionary exercises help to improve posture, as well as make you more flexible. Performing flexibility exercises becomes more important as you age.
Several exercises for the elderly or anyone for that matter involve squats, going from a seated to standing position, stretching the hip flexors, stretching the chest, and strengthening the back. Doing all of these things will expand your body and pull you out of a bad posture position. So out of all the activities you can do as you get older, the greatest anti aging exercise you can do involves things that expand your body.
